These pictures show the skilled process that Metal Cabinets goes through in building a mild steel panel.
Raw sheets of metal are sourced from our warehouse. MCS keeps a large stock pile of metal sheets to begin manufacture as soon as the design has been finished.
The sheet metal is then cut to size with our guilloitine and punched into the parts net shape. It is punched with our state of the art machinery sourced from Japan.
The sheet is then formed using our powerful press brake machine. Our seasoned and committed workmen work side by side with CAM technology to form the metal within a tolerence of 0.1mm.
The parts are then welded in their fold position to strengthen and secure them. Our trained welders have the ability to weld flush and seemlessly through their wealth of experience.
All other welds are completed and smoothened out. This gives the metal work the appearance of seemless continuity over all edges.
The fabricated parts are then transported to our on site paint shop where they will be primed and prepped for coating.
The parts are then powder coated which ensures the best possible adhesion on metallic materials. Other finishes are available such as a gloss finish or for stainless steel a brushed finish.
Our on site paint shop has the ability paint a large scale of parts, from big to small.
The parts are then brought back round to bay 3 of our workshop where they are prepared for assembly.
The parts are then fitted together by our distribution team. All our products will arive at your premises pre assembled unless instructed otherwise to save you time.
The rest of the panel is then assembled. Even if the panel is large we can still build it with ease using our 3 ton crane.
After assembly of the panel it is then placed through a final inspection to ensure the quality is to our highest standard.
The finished product is then wrapped securely to protect from water damage and scratches. It is then placed on either our transport or a contracted company transort for delivery to your site.
